Poker Texas Hold'em is a
popular poker
variant played in casinos
and online poker rooms all over the planet. The more common types
of Texas Hold'em are No Limit and Fixed Limit, the Pot Limit
variant is also played but it is less common. In Fixed Limit
pre-flop and flop bets are equal to the big blind and in the turn
and river bets are equal to double the big blind.
In No Limit Texas Hold'em,
poker players can bet any amount above the minimum
bet and even go all-in. On the other hand, in Pot Limit Hold'em the
maximum bet equals the amount of the current jackpot.
Most poker
Texas Hold'em games start
with the two poker players sitting on the left of the croupier
making their bets. The amount of the bets will depend on the poker
variant. After this betting round the croupier discards the card on
top of the deck and then puts the first three community cards on
the table, known as the flop.
After the next betting round, the croupier deals another
community card known as the turn and after players bet again a
new poker
card known as the river is
shown. The player who has the best card combinations wins the
poker game.
