Marsha Waggoner is a professional poker
player from Australia who
was born on 11th January 1949. She currently lives in Los Angeles,
California, and is considered an outstanding poker player by her
colleagues. She has won several poker tournaments and
championships.
In 1976 Marsha was working as a croupier in a casino in Sydney
when she discovered her talent for Stud poker. In 1977 she moved to
Reno, Nevada to play poker professionally. Up to that moment she
mostly had experience in cash games, until in 1980 Amarillo Slim won
the Second Annual Poker Classic and she became interested in poker
tournaments.
At the beginning of 1980 she moved to Las Vegas where she
quickly showed her skills to play
poker Texas Hold'em and Seven-Card poker in poker
tournaments. In 2008 she was one of the four players to inaugurate
the Women in Poker Hall of Fame at the Binion Casino.
In 2005 she was invited to take part in the World Poker Tour
Legends of Poker Ladies Night and in 2006 she played in the
Ultimate Poker Challenge poker championship. Her winnings up to
